Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex, wrapped up their travels in Tonga, they made an appearance at Tupou College in Nuku'alofa to unveil the Queen's Canopy Dedication.
For the occasion, the Duchess chose a turquoise blue Veronica Beard shirt dress, and then she got matchy-matchy with pastel blue ankle strap heels for a monochromatic effect. She topped the look off with a pair of her go-to earrings — three diamond curve studs by Adina Reyter — and a ponytail. Unlike some of the more casual hairstyles she's worn over the course of the past few weeks with loose tendrils blowing in the breeze, this look was about as tidy as it gets, with a clean center part and not a hair out of place.
